Not much really in the last year which kinda sucks. I'm starting to hate L.A. and thinking about moving to NYC. Sure that puts a damper on acting stuff, but in my heart I've always been a model first.

I've done a play, an online commercial, a couple runway shows and well, that's it.

(cuz that's where I do most of my posting)

this is mostly for just professional purposes and to make sure that no one can take my domain name, make an lj out of it and do malicious crap (which was what was happening when I created this lj)

I'm going to try (once again) to keep up with posting my professional stuff here and eventually try to incorporate it into my website (if I ever get it rebuilt).

They FINALLY put the episode of "How To Look Good Naked" that I'm in online....sorry, it's a little complicated to get to the video, but I tried to do the embedded link several times and it wouldn't work.

1. Go to Lifetime videos (aka click here!)
2. in the channel navigator, go to "shows - Full Episodes" (when you click on it, the show titles will show up)
3. click "How To Look Good Naked"
4. Episode 8, Segment 2 (I'm about 30 seconds into the segment walking down a sidewalk)

just a short post to update things.
-booked another short film for Art Institute called "Whisper'
-I'm in class twice a week until the end of the month. Did another 6 weeks of drama and also started the tv/film comedy as well. Looks like I may be continuing through summer as well.
-I suggest "Scott Sedita's Guide To Making It In Hollywood" (i'll put up pictures from Scott's book signing another time). He is doing another signing on May 22 at The Grove at 7pm.
-my new headshots are so incredible that I can't even pick just one....which I desperately need to do.
-my shots from Michael Ballard are pretty awesome as well. I should make new icons out of them.
-screening for "Blind Stare" (the film I did for USC) is on Friday.
-meeting with an agent on May 30th and got referred to like 3 others by another actor too. Things are starting to happen.

-still can't talk about a certain gig, but it looks like i'm getting an additional day on the project.
-audition at USC on Wednesday
-Still in class at Scott Sedita Acting Studio, but I'm probably switching over to the comedy class in 2 weeks or possibly taking a break for the summer. Depends on whether I decide to audition for Cricket Feet Showcase for a third time or not. My concern is spreading myself too thin during the summer considering my work schedule and how crazy it gets.
-Sunday was the first day of filming on the USC short that I booked. It's fun cuz I play a shoplifter....I had Jane's Addiction "Been Caught Stealing" stuck in my head the whole time. I shoot the remainder next Sunday.
-Photo shoot with Michael Ballard on Friday.
-project at CSUN tomorrow and Thursday.
-new headshots on April 20th. I'm doing Stuart Stone's "Perfect Headshot" session/class.

For those of you who don't already know, there has been a strike scheduled for Friday, March 21st, 2008, during which we hope to have many members of LiveJournal provide LJ with absolutely no content for twenty-four hours. This means no posting and no commenting. If you post elsewhere and have it set up to be posted through a feed on LiveJournal, don't do it. Stay away from LiveJournal for twenty-four hours. That can't be too hard, can it? I know some of you are probably quite active on LiveJournal and will find it hard to stay away for an entire day, just as I will, but this is something that needs to be done, to show the people running LiveJournal that we're watching the changes they are making, that we're paying attention, that we're discontent, and that we want to be heard and taken in to consideration. We are not simply users who can be tossed to the side and ignored. We are the people who make up LiveJournal. Without us, without the content we create, without our words, our voices, our creativity, our participation, there would be no LiveJournal. This is a fact, and it needs to be realized and understood and then taken in to consideration when making decisions regarding the way that LiveJournal is run. The strike is only a few days away, so there isn't all too much time to prepare. While this is unfortunate, it isn't enough to keep this strike from taking place. It will take place, the second it is meant to, and it would be best to have as many people take part as possible. Please, spread the word. Spread it fast. There are only a few days to organize this. If you find that you care about LiveJournal or care about the people you interact with on LiveJournal or simply want it to remain a place where you can entertain yourself without constant censorship and money-hungry practices being thrown in without the consideration of those who use the service, act now. If you don't wish to spread the word, that is fine, but please: refrain from using LiveJournal on Friday, March 21st. Do something else for a change. It's for a good cause. (:

For background on this strike and why it is being held, please read the following posts:
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/394838.html
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/395310.html

To find out exactly when the strike begins and ends, depending on where you are located, please see this:
http://beckyzoole.livejournal.com/395125.html (for the L.A. peeps, I believe it begins Thursday at 5pm)

What's this about?
* It's about free and ad-free LiveJournal accounts being abolished for new members, ignoring the advice from the newly-formed Advisory Board.
* It's about LJ staff trying to sneak this decision in under the radar, and when people found out, telling the users it was done 'to make the signup process less confusing'.
* It's about LJ staff failing to apologize for trying to hide the facts from view and for lying about the actual reasons for their actions.
* And finally, it's about the latest decision to hide certain user interests from the list of Most Popular Interests, some of them being fanfiction, bisexuality, sex and depression. This decision was not announced or explained in any way. Users found out for themselves.

1. Shoe Carnival commerical audition....that was fun. Did the bunny hop with kids.

2. Cricket Feet Showcase audition. this one was my HUGE one. I've been prepping for it since Sept when I just barely missed the cut for the last showcase. Seriously....everything I've done since Sept has been focused on getting into this next showcase.

Now I sit and wait....if I get in, I'm taking a break from class. If I don't (which there's not going to be a don't in my mind at this point), I still may take a couple weeks off just to assess things.

I rocked the NBC audition so hard that I was barely home an hour when they called me for a callback on Monday (paid, I might add!). Manager meeting went well. Then I had an audition to be a hostess/greeter at a Grammy after-party on Sunday. Finally, got my notice for the next step towards my audition for the Cricket Feet Showcase.

The weekend is starting out freaking spectacular!!!

1. audition for an in-house pilot presentation for NBC tomorrow (meaning: it's basically a pitch pilot for NBC that is only seen internally by the network and never on the air). Still....it gets me on NBC's radar.
2. Manager meeting tomorrow. The writer's strike may be ending soon and it would be really kick ass to have some acting representation to get me in some doors.

Long time, no update...I know. I horrible about that.

Since my last post here, I've done a few things here and there:
-Promotional gigs for CVS/American Greetings (both Halloween & Christmas), Target and Sears.
-Student scenes for Art Institute & L.A. City College
-Spec commercial for Art College of Design
-auditioned for Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel" and got interviewed by Fox Reality's show "Reality Remix", but I didn't make the cut for Bravo.
-other various auditions
-I'm back in acting class. I'm studying at Scott Sedita Acting Studio. It's been the most rewarding time and the most trying time. I'm seeing results, but damn it's not easy.
-I'm getting yet another new booker at my modeling agency.

Now onto 2008:
-Audition for a Travel Channel commercial tomorrow....time to rock that puppy out.
-Meet my new booker on Jan 8th

oh yeah..... Go Buckeyes!!!
